The Sioux Lookout Club is working on the details for the 2026 Camp
INTERNATIONAL WILDERNESS CANOE CAMP
challenging canoe trip that you will find both enjoyable and rewarding. We will prepare you to successfully complete a 200-kilometre canoe trip in two-person, aluminum canoes. You will be expected to fully participate in all aspects of the camping/canoeing trip including cooking, setting up tents, paddling, and of course, carrying equipment and canoes over the seven portages (the longest being 2.0 km). Of great importance to the success of your experience will be your willingness to work in a team atmosphere.

Camp fee $700 Canadian Dollars ( +/- 440€) & Round-trip travel to Sioux Lookout.
Insurance (CISI Bolduc Plan B, one month, +/-75€, or equivalent).

The trip will be physically and emotionally challenging! You must be comfortable in and around water and be able to swim. Prior knowledge of canoeing is not required, as we will teach you everything you need to know to complete the trip.
Accommodations before and after, the canoe trip will be with host families. During the canoe trip, you will be staying in tents in the remote wilderness.
