Yore, our exchange student from Belgium, is thoroughly enjoying his stay in Canada, with Sioux Lookout as his home base. The move from his home country has been a significant change for him, yet he is embraced the experience and adapts well to his new surroundings.

Being away from home as a teenager presents its own challenges, but Yore is managing the transition admirably. His ability to adjust quickly and maintain a positive attitude has allowed him to settle in comfortably. He has become an active part of the local school community and welcomes new experiences as they come.

Recently, Yore celebrated his birthday, and he is looking forward to experiencing Christmas in a North American style, embracing the unique traditions and festivities of the holiday season during his time abroad.

Yore's time in Canada included so far visits to various places, such as Portage la Prairie, Churchill in Manitoba and Niagara Falls. These travels have given him a broader perspective on Canadian landscapes, cultures, and distances, enriching his exchange experience and allowing him to appreciate the diversity Canada offers.
