The annual Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast was a tremendous success, bringing the community together bright and early on Monday morning as part of the 44th Blueberry Festival. Thanks to the dedication of countless volunteers, more than 500 plates were served to enthusiastic guests, with the first visitor arriving before 7:00 a.m. and a steady flow of hungry patrons continuing until 11:00 a.m.
This much-loved tradition is more than a breakfast—it is a celebration of friendship, community spirit, and local pride. Guests enjoyed reconnecting with long-lost friends while sharing delicious blueberry pancakes, smoked breakfast sausages, orange juice, and fresh coffee in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Bert also joined in the fun, helping in the kitchen, greeting guests, and spending time with children at the event.
The event also featured a special Rotary fundraiser led by Susan, who created a beautiful quilt from Blueberry Festival T-shirts, turning cherished festival memories into a meaningful keepsake in support of Rotary’s community work.
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to all the Rotary Club volunteers and community helpers whose time, energy, and dedication made this event possible. From preparing food and serving guests to setting up, cleaning up, and welcoming everyone with a smile, their efforts helped create a memorable morning for the entire community.
