The Sioux Lookout Rotary Club recently presented a $500 cheque to the Nordic Nomads Cross-Country Ski Club.
The donation was made possible through funds raised by Rotary Bingo.

This dedicated volunteer organization maintains more than 25 km of cross-country ski trails throughout Cedar Bay and the surrounding area. Some of the best trails in northwestern Ontario. The trail system offers something for everyone, from challenging routes for seasoned skiers to relaxing trails for beginners, including a 5 km racing loop.
The scenic trails wind through pine forests and marshland, circle Duck Lake, overlook Pelican Lake, and provide outstanding skiing opportunities for all skill levels. The 5 km trail and golf course loop are groomed for both skate and classic skiing, and volunteers continue working to widen additional trails.
Trailheads are located at Cedar Bay and the Sioux Lookout Golf & Curling Club.
